Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actress and activist. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents, she began her career as a child performer shortly after immigrating to the United States. In AT&T television commercials she played the character of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 to 2016 and then in until 2020. Apart from commercial appearances, she also appeared as a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). In addition, she was a series regular on Yahoo! Vayntrub, who was originally selected to voice the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's pilot that was never aired for New Warriors in 2018, has voiced the character since. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. At two years of age, she and her parents moved to the U.S. as refugees to get away from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. Due to financial hardships within her family, she started performing in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was five years old. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School, but dropped out in her sophomore year. She obtained a GED and went to pursue an Associate of Arts in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. She was a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and learned the art of improv comedy.
